Captain Doug Stanford has been fishing his entire life. His earliest memories are on the water chasing and reeling in monster fish.
For over 15 years, Capt Doug has been guiding professionally out of the bays in Rockport, Port Aransas, and Aransas Pass TX.
Whether your looking for a fun family trip or want to hook onto something that will give you the fight of your life, Capt Doug can accomodate any skill level of anglers--from beginners to professionals.
In addition to guiding, he has also won numerous tournaments and is also a member of the ShallowSport pro team, Gulf Coast Marine pro team, and Power Pole pro team. He's been featured in several fishing magazines, newspaper articles, as well as several seasons of Wide Open Outdoor Adventures TV.
He is also featured on the weekly Texas Fishing Tips videos on youtube.
Capt Doug is also a member of the Coastal Bend Guide's Association as well as the Port Aransas Chamber of Commercer. He's licensed by the US Coast Guard & Texas Parks & Wildlife, and is trained in both first aid & CPR.
